Most heating installations have valves
fitted each side of the
water pump. However, if valves are not fitted it will
be
necessary to drain the system and refill on completion
|

If
the existing valves are worn and passing water, the system
will need to be drained and the valves replaced.

time involved in refilling a heating system varies with
different installations, some fill quickly while others
can be difficult.
The possibility of airlocks can not be ruled out. However,
by and large most systems fill within a hour or two. |
